ACR’s State Government Relations Team has tracked hundreds of bills during the 2024 state legislative session. This includes 100+ bills related to scope of non-physician personnel, in 39 states and the District of Columbia.

- Residents & Medical Students "Advocacy 101" virtual program with Dillon Harp
Resident Advocacy 101 Program
The American College of Radiology® (ACR®) State Government Relations staff launched a Resident Advocacy 101 program in 2022 to educate radiology residents about how to become involved in advocating for patients and the profession. In 2022, this program reached more than 160 residents at nine radiology residency programs. Resident Advocacy 101 is a 1-hour presentation, led by ACR government relations staff and state radiological society leaders. The program features presentations explaining how to get involved in state-level advocacy.
